    Aimee thx so much for your recipe my son loves it. He thought it was the best . I have 1 issues that my icing is too watery . It didn’t get flaky. I didn’t put one cup. I did less than that. Is that make any different?Thx a lot but overall the texture of the doughnuts is so soft n airy . We loves it thx again

    I have noticed that egg in bread dough changes the taste of the bread. Also, bread without egg tends to stay fresh for longer. I am going to try your recipe with poolish and see how it turns out. Will keep you posted.

    Family friend sells buns like these, had them and absolutely loved them, I want to make my own and plan to follow this recipe, theirs are a little more dense I THINK but I won’t know till I make these myself, I’m gonna learn how to make all three kinds of buns, these Vietnamese ones, the Chinese ones and the Japanese ones, I will collect them like infinity stones 😂

    I made this last night and I cannot stop thinking about it! It was super fluffy and soft inside with a thin crust. I didn't have a baguette pan, so I used a kitchen towel to shape the bread and let them rest for the second time. I baked them in a sheet pan and they turned out amazing.
